Concrete tiles made of natural cement
We make concrete tiles in three different sizes: 15×15, 20×20 and 10×20 centimeters. All of them with a thickness of 13 millimeters.
They are made with a special mixture of several stones. Thus, we get straight and thin edges with a very natural look.
The designs are minimalist. Therefore, they integrate with the concept of concrete as part of an urban style.
Our tiles are made of full mass concrete, so no two tiles will ever be alike. Because of this, we can create floor and wall tiles with a natural character.
Cement and concrete
Cement is a versatile material, which is why its use in architecture is widespread. It stands out for its naturalness and resistance, so you can combine cement with multiple natural materials such as stone, wood or metal.
Cement mixed with various stones and water makes concrete. Concrete is a living material that evolves over time, thus, changes its brightness and texture.
To manufacture our tiles, we have developed a concrete that shows the natural beauty of cement. Thanks to a balanced mixture of stone and cement, we achieve a natural look and high resistance.
Due to the natural hardening process, each tile has a individual look. After pressing, the irregular evaporation of water gives our tiles their strength and natural colors, which is why the cement has a different appearance on each tile.
Sustainable concrete tiles
At Dgeum we manufacture our tiles in a sustainable way in order to achieve this, we press our tiles and harden them at room temperature for 28 days. As a result, our tiles harden naturally, without firing or emissions.
All our floor and wall coverings are made of cement. That is why we offer the possibility to customize the color of the designs to integrate with the grout. Thus, we can combine joints and designs with cement colors creating uniformly colored surfaces.
To customize the designs it is possible to choose colors from the Kerakoll grout color chart, specifically the Fugabella Color range.
