Cement Tiles for Floors and Walls

The evolution of cement tiles

Cement tiles originated in the 19th century as pigmented tiles produced using hydraulic presses. Made without kiln firing, they became a defining feature of Modernist and Mediterranean architecture. They were valued for their durability, decorative richness, and handcrafted character.

Our cement tiles reinterpret this mineral heritage. Through a proprietary manufacturing process, we improve stability, reduce thickness, and preserve the authenticity of cement. Alongside traditional patterns, we develop contemporary designs that integrate naturally into classic interiors and modern architecture and interior design projects.

What makes our cement tiles different?

Inspired by the tradition of hydraulic presses, our system overcomes the limitations of traditional encaustic tiles. By reducing water absorption and thickness, we expand their possibilities for both floor and wall applications.

How are they manufactured?

The tiles retain the same mineral composition and manufacturing principles as traditional cement tiles. However, they feature a single-layer structure. They are cold-pressed without kiln firing, ensuring authenticity and material consistency.

What formats and designs are available?

Our cement tiles are available in 15×15, 10×20 and 20×20 cm formats. Our collections range from traditional geometric patterns to contemporary designs for floors and walls.

Architecture and interior design

Our tiles are different from ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware. They are manufactured from a single mineral body, meaning the surface and the core share the same mineral composition. As a result, this opens up new creative possibilities for architecture, interior design and outdoor spaces.

Traditionally, encaustic tiles have been associated with ornate geometric patterns and classically inspired interiors. However, our concept preserves this heritage while projecting it into the present through bespoke collections. As a result, we achieve a fresh interpretation of the material. This outcome is equally suited to traditional spaces and modern architectural projects.

Our manufacturing process creates a new material for floors and walls, positioned between porcelain stoneware, traditional cement tiles and natural stone. It does not imitate other materials; it reinvents them through its own substance. Not ceramic. Not stone. Material.

Where to use our cement tiles

Our tiles are suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor areas, adapting perfectly to both horizontal and vertical surfaces. From continuous flooring to feature walls, they allow for the development of functional and aesthetic solutions in all types of projects using truly unique pieces:

High-performance flooring

Our material provides a slip-resistant surface and excellent wear resistance, making it a durable flooring solution for indoor and outdoor spaces. Whether used in bathrooms, kitchens or terraces, it combines the natural appearance of cement with outstanding durability.

Our material combines cement, mineral aggregates and ceramic manufacturing technology. Each tile is manufactured using a Sacmi press specially adapted to our production process and is available in 15×15, 10×20 and 20×20 cm formats, with natural, slightly rounded edges.

Reduced thickness for walls

The material of our wall tiles represents an evolution beyond conventional ceramics. With a thickness of just 13 mm and high density, they offer a finish and durability that evoke the beauty and solidity of natural stone in wall applications.

Furthermore, part of our production is done by hand. This gives every tile a distinct character and reinforces our commitment to craftsmanship. This allows us to create a wall covering with an aesthetic that integrates naturally into minimalist, industrial and contemporary projects.

What makes our cement tiles unique?

Specifically, our cement tiles are manufactured in Spain using a proprietary process that blends industrial innovation with handcrafted finishing. Available in 15×15, 10×20, and 20×20 cm formats, they represent a new generation of materials that unites the finest qualities of ceramic, cement, and natural stone.

Each tile preserves the authenticity of its mineral composition while achieving a balance between durability, design and natural character. The outcome is a surface with a true individual identity. Free from industrial uniformity, it brings rich texture, depth, and natural variation to any project.

Furthermore, we reflect our firm commitment to sustainable architecture through a production process entirely free from kiln-firing. By eliminating traditional high-temperature kilns, we drastically reduce associated emissions and energy consumption, delivering a material that honours the tradition of cement while responding responsibly to modern ecological demands.

Our tiles at a glance

  • Applications: suitable for floors and walls in residential and commercial projects.
  • Precision manufacturing: each format is produced directly from the press mould.
  • High strength: high-pressure compaction with a thickness of just 13 mm.
  • Low water absorption: an acrylic protective finish minimises porosity.
  • Sustainability: manufactured without kiln firing or associated emissions.
  • Touch and texture: a mineral finish with a warm, natural feel.
  • Natural variation: each tile displays subtle differences in texture and colour.
  • Integral colour: the design is not applied to the surface but forms part of the material itself.
