Floor and wall coverings for indoor and outdoor

We redefine surface creation through the use of original materials. Much like stone or wood, our original tiles possess a unique presence and tactile quality, establishing a surface with character that connects indoor and outdoor spaces in residential or commercial projects where the material itself is the true protagonist.

The natural-looking matte finish leaves a tactile, material impression that evokes warmth and distinction. This sensation, combined with our signature designs, makes our floor and wall original tiles the ideal choice for interiors and outdoors where a genuine and natural aesthetic is desired.

Technical characteristics of our surfaces

Cement is a living material. Unlike synthetic options, our tiles subtly evolve their surface over time, gaining depth in nuance and character. We see the natural curing process as a design value for those seeking the authenticity of raw materials.

How do we manufacture?

Exclusive made-to-order manufacturing

We manufacture our pieces through a natural curing process, where the cement consolidates its strength and definitive tone organically. This slow maturation method guarantees a product with stability and a visual identity unattainable for industrial ceramics.

Exclusive handcrafted pieces

Our manufacturing processes are sustainable and focus on the quality of each piece. Therefore, the pressing phase is fundamental to the strength and aesthetics of our tiles. This key process follows these steps:

  1. Mixture preparation: We start with a mix of aggregates to which we add white, grey, or black cement. Once the mixture is homogeneous, we add water until reaching the optimum moisture percentage for pressing.
  2. Pressing: The tiles are pressed in special 15×15, 10×20, or 20×20 cm moulds. Although the newly pressed pieces are compacted, the cement has not yet developed its final strength.
  3. Curing: The pieces rest for 28 days to complete their characteristic hardening. This process eliminates the need for high-temperature firing, drastically reducing the carbon footprint while ensuring exceptional resistance.

Dgeum’s visual identity is consolidated in the final treatment phase. We apply deep printing technology and high-resistance protections that preserve the nature of the cement while optimising its performance in daily use.

  1. Printing and colour effect: The tiles enter the printing line, where designs are applied with inks that penetrate the interior of each piece. The high absorption of cement is key to achieving unique colour effects that cannot be replicated in other materials. Once printed, the tiles rest for 24 hours to fix the colour.
  2. Protection: Next, the pieces pass to the finishing line to receive a high-resistance matte acrylic protection with an internal shielding effect.
  3. Final finish: Finally, after the protection has hardened, each piece undergoes individual polishing to obtain the silky touch and high-end polished concrete look that defines Dgeum.
  4. Packaging and shipping: Lastly, the pieces are sorted, boxed, and palletised, ready for shipping.
