How to install our cement tiles
Our cement tiles are manufactured using a unique process that combines cement, stone and marble powder. As with any premium material, correct installation is essential to ensure a long-lasting finish while preserving the aesthetic and technical qualities of every piece.
This guide brings together the main recommendations for professional installers, together with the best practices to follow before, during and after installation.
Surface preparation
Before installation
The substrate must be completely stable, level and rigid to prevent movement that could affect the installation over time.
Before laying the tiles, make sure the surface is completely dry and free from dust, debris or any other material that could reduce the performance of the adhesive.
Proper surface preparation is the foundation of a durable installation.
Tile installation
Adhesive and installation recommendations
We recommend using a flexible C2 cement-based adhesive, applied evenly across the surface to avoid voids beneath the tiles.
Tiles should never be struck directly to level them. Instead, use a wooden batten of approximately 40 cm to distribute pressure evenly during installation.
All interior collections are factory finished with a durable matt acrylic protective coating, so no additional treatment is required after installation.
During the first few days, slight temporary colour variations may appear as the cement completes its natural drying process. This is a normal characteristic of the material and will gradually disappear as moisture levels stabilise.
Remove any excess adhesive immediately using a sponge and plenty of clean water. Metal scrapers and abrasive pads should never be used.
Grouting
Recommended joint width
For most interior applications we recommend a joint width of approximately 1.5 mm.
Use a grout specifically designed for narrow joints and, whenever possible, choose a colour that closely matches the tiles for a more uniform finish.
During grouting, clean away excess material before the grout begins to harden.
Underfloor heating
Compatibility and recommendations
Our cement tiles are fully compatible with underfloor heating systems thanks to the excellent thermal conductivity of the cement and mineral aggregates used in their manufacture.
For these installations we recommend:
- Applying the adhesive evenly with no voids beneath the tiles.
- Using a flexible C2S2 adhesive.
- Installing the tiles with 3 mm joints using CG2 grout.
- Ensuring the surface temperature of the tiles never exceeds 50 °C.
Following these recommendations will ensure optimum long-term performance.
Cleaning and maintenance
After installation
Once installation has been completed, maintenance is straightforward.
Routine cleaning only requires a damp cloth or soft mop together with a neutral liquid soap.
No waxes, sealers or additional treatments are required for interior collections.

Our cement tiles are suitable for both flooring and wall applications.
