Bathroom tile, kitchen tile, lounge tile: a different option to make tiles

We have developed several types of tiles. Special for kitchen floors, bathroom floors, outdoor floors, kitchen walls, bathroom walls, etc., with different styles and in various formats so that they can be used in different applications.

We have developed a new way of manufacturing floor and wall coverings for kitchens, bathrooms, and other architectural and interior design spaces.

Our covering tiles are suitable for a wide range of applications. To achieve the protection of the pieces, we apply a matte acrylic finish that protects them from the inside.

The pieces have a matte acrylic finish that protects them from the inside. Therefore, we can use our bathroom tile to create very original interior design projects.

In addition, all our products are partly handmade and have a style of their own. Consequently, it allows us to create very unique kitchen tile for decoration.

Our products rely heavily on cement as their main material due to its hardness and resistance.

HOW TO

How do we manufacture our tiles?

Cement has the particularity of changing its tone as it dries. Thus, the tiles achieve a natural effect that makes them unique pieces for interior decoration.

We could say that our floors and walls improve with the passage of time. Cement is a living material with a setting time that lasts more than 100 years.

Explaining how we make cement tiles is a way to understand why these tiles are different, as they are a new type of tile.

Manufacturing includes several phases and processes.

PRODUCTION

Pressing phase

  1. We prepare and mix a composition based on various stones and cement.
  2. Once we obtain a homogeneous mixture, we add water until we obtain the optimum percentage of humidity for pressing.
  3. We make the pieces using a process of high pressure; we have three moulds available: 15×15, 20×20, and 10×20 centimetres.
  4. The freshly pressed pieces are compacted, but the cement has not yet given them their strength; we handle them carefully and store them in waggons for 28 days.
  5. At room temperature, the cement hardens and acquires its final strength after the water inside the pieces evaporates.

CREATIVE

Design and finishing phase

  1. The printing line uses inks that penetrate the inside of the tiles to create designs when we take hardened tiles.
  2. We place the pieces in waggons for 24 hours with the finished designs. Cement has a high absorption. That’s our product’s key. But this is a drawback. We need to protect the cement surface.
  3. The pieces go to the finishing line, and we apply a high-resistance matte acrylic protection; hence, we protect the pieces from the inside.
  4. After another 24 hours of hardening of the protection, the parts are passed to the sorting tables, where an orbital machine is applied piece by piece to achieve a polished concrete effect.
  5. Finally, we put the pieces in boxes. Then, we put the boxes on pallets. Our tiles are ready for shipment.

NEW MATERIAL

Are all tiles for floors and walls?

In general, not all floor and wall tiles are suitable for placing on a floor or wall. There are various types of tiles. Tiles are designed for indoor or outdoor use.

You can use our products both indoors and outdoors. They are also suitable for both floors and walls.

Materials and design

Cement floors and walls that stand out for their natural appearance and textures. And thus, cement’s versatility allows us to create different styles of designs.

By printing the designs onto the cement, it absorbs the ink that seeps into it, thus resulting in a very natural-looking surface.

Each wall covering collection provides an infinite number of creative options. It is possible to configure each tile. You can select various options. Hence, you can create your own bathroom tiles and kitchen tiles.

  1. To begin with, choose the format.
  2. Then choose a cement base.
  3. And finally, you can choose the design’s ink.

All collections have complementary pieces: borders and corners. For this reason, it is possible to decorate environments with highly detailed finishes.

Tile collections

Concrete tile: The edges are straight and come directly from pressing. Concrete, a fundamental material in urban architecture, is the inspiration behind these tiles.

Decorative tile: Pieces hand-aged. Tiles have traditional decorations. You can choose the ink’s design. Therefore, we obtain a timeless style with a very different look.

Hexagonal tile: The hexagon is a geometric figure that is excellent for decoration. In addition, the cement accentuates its organic quality, leaving a random appearance.

Outdoor tile: We manufacture cement pavers with low thickness, non-slip properties, and high resistance. They have two different edge finishes: straight edges or bevelled edges.

Installation

We make tiles with a special protective treatment. The protection is from the inside of the cement, and no treatment is necessary after installation.

Our coatings combine perfectly with the joint cement. Thus, many combinations are possible. We recommend Kerakoll joint cement, as they have similar tones to our tiles.

Its installation is similar to that of terracotta or natural stone tiles. Consult the installation rules for more technical details.
