How do we manufacture our tiles?
We manufacture our cement tiles, a unique material with the distinctive characteristic that its tone changes as it dries. This curing process, which can last over 100 years, makes our tiles a truly unique product unlike any other on the market.
We could say that our coatings not only decorate but also improve over time. Cement is a living material. Cement shades evolve slightly, giving each piece a natural and exclusive look. Thus, each piece is unique. Over the years, your floors and walls will develop a character and beauty that no one can replicate. Hence, understanding this manufacturing process, you can see why our pieces are so special.

The manufacturing process
Our manufacturing processes are sustainable and focus on the quality of each piece. Hence, the press phase is fundamental to achieving the strength and aesthetics of our coverings, a process that follows these steps:
- Preparation of the mixture: At first time, we start with an aggregate mix to which we add white, grey, or black cement. Once the mixture is homogeneous, we add water until it reaches the optimal moisture content for pressing.
- Pressed: Then, we press the tiles. Mould sizes are 15×15, 10×20, or 20×20 centimetres. Although the freshly pressed pieces are compacted, the cement has not yet developed its final strength.
- Cured: Finally, we handle the pieces with the utmost care and store them on trolleys for 28 days. During this time, the evaporation of water hardens the cement, giving the tiles their characteristic strength. This reflects our commitment to a greener production process.
Creative designs
The finishing and protection phase
- Colour effect: We make the designs for each tile using deep-penetrating inks. Afterwards, the key to achieving special effects is the high absorption of cement. This look cannot be replicated in other materials. Then, the tiles are left to rest on trolleys for 24 hours.
- Protection: Then, the pieces move to the finishing line to receive a high-strength, matte acrylic coating that protects them from the inside out.
- Final finish: After another 24 hours, the protective coating has fully hardened. Then, each piece is individually polished with an orbital machine to achieve a polished concrete effect.
- Packaging: Finally, the tiles are packed in boxes of 5 or 7 pieces. Pallets can hold up to 30 square metres. Then, our products are ready for shipment.

Materials and design
Our cement tiles stand out for their natural look and textures; this allows us to create different design styles thanks to the versatility of cement itself. We print the designs onto the cement, which absorbs the inks. As a result, the surface has a very natural look. It is possible to configure some parameters (format, cement base, and design ink). The essence of cement and its protection

Thus, the pieces have a unique feel and different textures. To protect them durably, we apply a matte acrylic finish that penetrates deep inside. Thanks to this protection, you can use our products in the most demanding areas, such as bathrooms, without losing their beauty.
Installation of our tiles
Our products are special cement pieces that already come with a protective treatment, so there’s no need to treat them after installation. Being made of cement, our pieces blend seamlessly with the grout cement. For a seamless and harmonious effect, we recommend using Kerakoll jointing cement, as it comes in tones very similar to our pieces.
